FAQ & Troubleshooting

Fast fixes for joining, resource-pack problems, missing items, claims, performance, and support.

Quick fixesSupport checklistCommon questions
01

My resource pack looks wrong

If custom items look like paper, vanilla items, or missing models, confirm that the server resource pack was accepted and finished downloading. Reconnect once after a failed/partial download.

  • Make sure server resource packs are enabled for The Coil in your multiplayer server settings.
  • Reconnect after changing that setting.
  • If only one specific item is broken, screenshot the item name/lore and report it rather than reinstalling everything immediately.
02

I cannot build or open something

You are probably inside someone elseโ€™s claim or do not have the required trust level. Ask the claim owner for the lowest trust level you actually need. If you are physically trapped, /trapped is the GriefPrevention escape command.

03

Where should I gather resources?

Use /warp resource for destructive bulk gathering. The Resource World resets about monthly, while Survival is meant for long-term builds and communities.

04

A store purchase is missing

Use /contact or Discord. Include your Minecraft username, what you purchased, and, if available, the Tebex transaction ID and purchase email. That gives the owners enough information to verify the transaction quickly.

05

How do I contact staff?

Discord is the fastest general support route. Use the contact menu for guidance. For unusually sensitive issues, especially one involving a staff member, follow the private contact option shown there.

06

I lost an item

Explain exactly what happened, when it happened, the world/location if known, and what item was lost. Screenshots or video help. Staff can then determine whether server rollback/inventory records are applicable.

07

I am not sure if something is allowed

Check the Rules page first. If the situation is still unclear, ask staff before doing it, especially for claims, farms, automation, exploits, trading, or anything that could affect other players.
